I've always loved to eat. As a kid, I would spend hours watching cooking shows and dreaming of becoming a chef. But it wasn't until I was in my early 20s that I realized I could make a career out of my passion for food.

I've also learned a lot about myself. I've learned that I'm more adventurous than I thought I was. I've learned that I'm willing to try anything once. And I've learned that I'm always happiest when I'm surrounded by good food and good company.
In this book, I share my adventures as a professional eater. I'll take you behind the scenes of some of the world's best restaurants. I'll introduce you to the people who make the food world so special. And I'll share some of my favorite recipes.
